Martha Stewart is introducing a line of CBD products with Snoop Dogg’s cannabis company

Martha Stewart may be developing her most interesting line of products yet. The mogul has announced a partnership with Canopy Growth Corp., one of Canada’s biggest weed corporations, to develop a line of CBD products for people and animals through the Sequential Brands Group, the parent company of Martha Stewart Omnimedia. In a press release, Stewart said she was looking forward to sharing the knowledge she has “gained after years of experience in the subject of living.”

CBD is a totally new area for the most famous hostess in the world, but the news seems like a natural development after over a decade of working with Snoop Dogg, the infamous rapper and cannabis connoisseur. In 2008 Snoop appeared on Stewart’s television show to talk about his Christmas album and make mashed potatoes, and a few years later he came back for some weed brownies. Since then, the two have often played off of each other’s very different images and become somewhat of a famous celebrity duo. Snoop is actually a part-owner of Canopy Growth, which he acquired last year.

“As soon as you hear the name Martha, you know exactly who we’re talking about,” Canopy Growth CEO Bruce Linton also said in a press release. “I am so excited to be able to work alongside this icon to sharpen our CBD product offerings across categories from human to animal.”
